my name is susan; born & raised in canada, eh.

currently living in england (the land of one direction!) where I’m studying at cambridge university :)

I love history and politics, especially if it’s related to germany and russia/ussr. (I have a secret obsession with anything soviet-related) I like reading the newspaper with breakfast every morning, living vicariously through people’s travel/study abroad blogs, watching interior design shows, and learning random bits of trivia.

my favourite season is winter, and I am a devout supporter of the toronto blue jays and the german national football team. I wish I could furnish my wardrobe only with clothes from urban outfitters and aritzia, but as I am too poor, forever 21 and h&m will do. I love food, especially pastries and desserts; I can and will eat just about anything. coffee-wise though, starbucks is my guilty pleasure. I’m an aspiring polyglot with insatiable wanderlust.
